Overlooking fields of olives and almonds with the Sierra Chiva range in the skyline, Casa Espanada is a haven of peace and relaxation surrounded by some of the quintessential attractions and activities this country has to offer.
History
Description
The property consists of a classic Spanish style villa surrounded by a walled garden. It is complete with a swimming pool, terraces and a fountain in the front. As such, it is ideal for private relaxation while providing safety and security.
Behind the property is a small garage with enclosed “paellero”. A paellero is traditionally a place to barbecue or prepare Spain’s most famous dish, the Paella!
In the back of the property, there is a classic Valencian Fronton or three walled court with origins in the 1800’s. It is used for playing a variety of court sports with a ball using one’s hand, a racket, a wooden bat or a basket, against a wall. The court is complete with basketball net, badminton net and goals, ideal for children and adult recreation alike.
The upper floor living room provides a cozy atmosphere complete with fireplace. It is decorated in a contemporary style with modern furniture.
The house has four bedrooms, two larger and two smaller. The larger bedrooms have Queen Size beds. The smaller rooms each have two single beds that can be stacked to create space or act as a sofa or joined together to provide a double bed.
Two full bathrooms, one with a bath and the other with shower, provide adequate space for a large family or multiple families.
Finally, the large kitchen and dining room is complete with all appliances and amenities. A door leads to the terrace which surrounds the front of the house. As such, it is ideal for entertaining guests.
The lower floor added is a marvelous open concept living room and dining room with bar opening to a patio. Added after the original construction, it was designed in Classic Spanish style by Valencian Architects Pacual Genoveś Tarin and Pascual M Genoves Franco. Hand crafted stain glass windows with black iron.
Outside there are large terraces and charming places in throughout the garden to enjoy meetings with family and friends.
Location
Location is everything and Casa Espánda provides the best of all. The location of Casa Espanada makes it ideal for both work stays or relaxing holidays. It is a 5 minutes drive from the access to the Madrid-Valencia A3 motorway, which allows you to go to the city of Valencia in 20 minutes, or to the beaches of the Saler Natural Park in 30 minutes as well as numerous mountain areas nearby.
Located in an urbanized and residential area 1.4 km from the train station that connects Chiva and Valencia, and 2 km from the center of Chiva with all the medical services, supermarkets, bars and restaurants. It is only 10 minutes to Valencia Airport (VLC).
